Nervosa is an all female heavy metal band originally from Brazil. It was founded by Prika Amaral (guitar) and Fernanda Terra (drums) in February 2010. Fernanda is no longer with the band, but Prika has been in the band throughout. As of 2023, she has also taken over the role of lead vocalist. In addition to Prika Amaral, the band currently consists of Helena Kotina (guitar), Hel Pyre (bass), Gabriela Abud (drums). At this show, former member Michaela Naydenova stepped in for Gabiela Abud on the drums.

As Prika Amaral puts it in our interview, the band plays a mix of thrash, death, black and classic heavy metal with an added element of punk.

I was pleasantly surprised by this band. It was really refreshing to see an all female band play this kind of music and to such a large crowd. They packed the Moonlight stage at Tons Of Rock, and the crowd loved them. I whole-heartedly recommend this band as one to see whenever you get the chance.

The voices in my head agreed on a very solid 8 out of 10 skulls. They docked two skulls because while Prika Amaral is knocking her new role out of the park and Helena Kotina may be the most impressive female live guitarist I've seen perform in person, the other two, while accomplished musicians, seemed a little timid and passive on stage. The line-up is fairly new though, so I'm sure Hel Pyre will grow into her new role, and Michaela Naydenova was just stepping in.
